"When I asked to change my policy, they did not make the change I requested; I had to follow up and ask for the change a second time. They would not backdate the change or refund what I had already paid. They sent me a letter stating I needed to sign a paper that I had already signed in their office. They later changed my monthly premium without alerting me to the change. My bill was on autopay and the change was not during a renewal period. When I inquired about the additional amount, they lied about it. They told me that the charge was for a garage address change (I've lived at the same place for years), change of car safety features (as if they didn't know what car I had), change of miles driven (nope), and then finally told me it was because of an accident (that was ~18 months ago). When I had an accident (not at fault), it took multiple weeks to get a reply regarding treatment because one single person was out of the office on vacation. They didn't have someone else handling her emails and the local office wasn't able to help at all with claims. I will be taking up Luis' suggestion that I select another insurance agency."
